Village Tourism “Dewi Peri” or Pentingsari Umbulharjo Village, Cangkringan District, Sleman District, Yogyakarta Special Region, today more and more attractive for foreign students who want to feel the beautiful atmosphere of rural community life.
“We have a lot of foreign students studying in Yogyakarta on the weekend to visit a tourist village` Elf `Goddess, as well as day trips are also at the same time doing various activities offered by the manager of the tourist villages on the slopes of Mount Merapi,” said Marketing Manager Tourism Village “Fairy Goddess” , Doto Yogantoro, Tuesday (07/27).

“The students are very eager to do activities include camping, outbound, nature and culinary adventure,” continued Doto.
Doto said, in addition to foreign students, international students also liked the area of tourism activities in the village Pentingsari.
They will stay with the community or staying and staying in the homes of local residents. In addition to the social service they will also do outbound and learn arts and culture such as gamelan, dance and crafts.
Head of Marketing of Tourism Culture and Tourism Office of Sleman Regency Shavitri Nurmala Dewi said that it is more and more foreign tourists local and overseas who visit tourist villages in Sleman.
