Huatulco Mexico – As Heaven Environmentally Friendly Tourism

Deep in the tropical forests Huatulco, bordering the River Copalitilla residing in southwestern Mexico, a cliff wall of water called Las Cascadas is composed of large rocks. Underneath, a small waterfall flowing into the pond nan berbiaskan green reflections of sunlight surrounded by shrubs. Sound of birds chirping bersahutan each other with each other through the treetops, and the rain butterfly colorful such as colored paper scraps scattered among the branches of a tree.
Las Cascadas looks like a very exotic location for the manufacture of a Tarzan movie and on a trip to Huatulco. I imagine myself playing as Jane. Hanging on a small wooden platform that was nailed high on a tree and holding a slippery rope with trembling fingers. The guide told me that I would become the first woman to ever swing at the top swimming and diving inside.
I’m not so sure I want to be a pioneer. That is an extremely long way to fall. The guide’s name was Oscar, and he was shouting instructions at the top deruan-water instruction on how to avoid the rocks and twigs of trees shortly after I launched myself into the air. Only takes a few seconds, and then cold water soaking myself in green as diteriakan Oscar from above.
Green Tourism Promotion
Huatulco filled with many adventures. An area of 52 000 hectares reserved for the development of tourism sector in 1984 by the Mexican government under the agency FONATUR, Las Bahías de Huatulco. The area covers mountainous forest area, two large rivers, and nine bays, or Bahías, which naturally flowed down the coastline.
Covering 30 000 hectare National Wildlife Park and Marine Park Huatulco and 18 points Golf Tangolunda training, stretching green and flourished by recycling water. FONATUR commitment to the ecology, tourism surviving Huatulco won an award at the greening of 2006, only three locations in the world to get the award.
Tourist hotels in the Gulf Tangolunda FONATUR partners in the vision of ecological sustainability. Hotel Camino Real Zaashila protect the beach where sea turtles, an endangered turtle habitat incubate the eggs.
In the largest resort hotel Huatulco, called Las Brisas, I explore the public botanical garden filled with tropical flowering plants, golden iguanas and rare birds with unique names like two blue birds and turkey urraca like chachalaca. Water in Huatulco is very clear, with a fairly spacious beaches, and wildlife are protected.
History and Nature Reserves
Huatulco is a new standard for Mexico, but was built on ancient foundations. Recently the legacy of pre-Columbian tribe Punta Celeste, which comes from the relics of the year 500 BC, found in ancient ecology park Huatulco.
Punta Celeste is an important part because it is the only pre-Columbian sites ever found along the Pacific coast of Mexico. Park offers visitors a public museum, and paved the path towards a small pyramid of Punta Celeste, a courtroom, to the place of sacrifice and stone carvings complete with ancient writings.
One trail leads to a correct view overlooking the river Copalita and the Pacific coastline. Above the river lagoon, heriang nest in trees, and hanging, frigate birds and eagles flying in the air.
In the mountains of Huatulco, there is an organic coffee farms offer tours for visitors. Colorful butterflies fly everywhere in between coffee plantations, and there is a nature reserve of La Gloria place where the butterflies bred.
The natives believe the butterfly represents the spirit of their ancestors, who immigrated to the north in summer but return every year on Dia de los Muertos month, commonly known as Halloween. The roads from the coast into the mountains is the route of winding roads through small villages where the local indigenous inhabitants still practice the traditional way of weaving and the border, and farmers plant a cactus and banana plantations as well as making herbal potions.
Cultural Oaxaca
Some local women offer food for sale, and an afternoon meal of fresh corn tortilla wrapped with grilled cactus leaves and seasoned with chili is an unforgettable experience. Cacao grown here, too, and most local hotels offer hot chocolate Huatulco that there is no comparison as the breakfast menu.
Huatulco is located in the state of Oaxaca, and Oaxacan cuisine is very popular in the United States. An exploration mentions the famous mole sauce which is made from a mixture of various ingredients including chocolate, chili, and cinnamon is a culinary adventure that is special.
On the beach, a small town of La Crucecita, which together with the Santa Cruz Huatulco made as urban centers, small shops selling native crafts there. One of most interesting shops, La Probadita, Oaxacan specialty food products. On a casual visit, I tasted many variants mescals, liquor brewed from green plants agave juice.
Starting from amber mescal in a few years old oak tree until cream dessert HSDPA, mescal become very popular. Has reached out to all the trappings of the wine trade, ranging from finely milled sommeliers and eventually became an international flavor. Presented complete with chapulines, or grasshoppers, local cheese, lemon juice and salt, culture Oaxacan mescal has arrived.
Sea Adventures
Huatulco has a beautiful coastline that has not been touched, with nine bays and white sandy cliffs homage to the clear water in which a to-ramaian tropical fish eat little rocks under the sea.
Starting from a small town of Santa Cruz, I tarkan self-register for a tour of the bay west of Huatulco diving at a depth of 35 foot catamaran called Tequila. Diving equipment can be rented at the pier or on the boat with the cost is quite cheap. When we sailed out of the port of Santa Cruz, seemed to belong to our own oceans apart from the silence of the sea turtles that float in our anchors.
In the bay of San Agustin, one of our group was wearing a mask and snorkel and fall into the warm water through the water. A group of colorful tropical fish swim below us. Our guide to dive down and brought a sea spiders, sea stars rounded, and a mackerel, invite us to touch them. Mackerel appear small, patterned, the body like black and white balloons and have a rough skin which is very surprising.
Of San Agustin, we sailed into the bay where there are groups Maguey restaurant open berjerami called “palapas” along the coastline. In Camaron Gigante or Giant Shrimp Restaurant, musicians walk while singing the song mexico crew and I move the dish of lobsters caught from local waters, small cooked shrimp on top of pineapple chunks, fresh langoustines from Waters Copalita, and red snapper baked in clay oven itself restaurant. Mound of avocado guacamole, lime green, and red pepper to decorate the table. In Huatulco, color and design is natural, and rich food culture that created it.
Spiritual Setbacks
Huatulco’s most respected monument is a small wooden cross, which legend says that the fragments of a large cross planted on the coast of Santa Cruz by one of the most important Mexican god, Quetzalcoatl, feathered serpent. Human form, Quetzalcoatl said to be white Europeans who arrived in Mexico and brought the golden age for their people.
On my last night in Huatulco, while listening to sound waves and deruan see a meteor shower glittered in the sky, I think that Quetzalcoatl has chosen this spot wisely. With its commitment to diversity and conservation of the living culture and traditions, colorful, Huatulco seems to be the fulfillment of the vision of ancient gods.
